Visitors to the Siemens booth at the German Expo will be greeted by the full complement of Siemens’ global network of innovation in all of its business fields: information and communications, automation and control, power, transportation, healthcare and lighting.

Added Mr. Bott: “We now employ some 47,000 researchers and developers globally. In Singapore, more than 10 per cent of our 2,000 employees are engaged in R&D work in surface mount technology machines, automotive systems and hearing instruments.”
In financial year 2005, Siemens invested S$10.4 billion in research and development. Siemens holds more than 53,000 patents worldwide with 150 development centers in over 40 countries globally.
Besides showcasing its business coverage in Singapore and around the world, Siemens is also sharing with visitors to its German Expo booth some of its projects in Singapore.
