The 1,485 square feet exhibition space and solutions center houses interactive applications and demonstrations of Siemens’ portfolio of innovations across the Industry, Energy and Healthcare sectors, as well as City Management solutions from Siemens IT Solutions and Services to address the world’s Megatrends, i.e. Urbanization, Demographic Change, and Climate Change.

About the City of the Future Exhibition and Solutions Center
1) Public Gallery – In the open gallery, Siemens solutions for Industry, Energy and Healthcare, as well as city management solutions, can be viewed on the state-of-the-art, interactive UBIQ touch screens which allow visitors to access the information simply using their fingers or swiping their hands on the screen panels.
2) City Management Solutions Center – The highlights within this area are:
• “Answers for Cities”: visualize case studies across Siemens that are implemented for cities around the world, including the information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for “Smart, Safe and Mobile” cities on interactive touch-screen kiosks.
• Siemens’ “Pictures of the Future” in a city perspective can be previewed, such as “real-time city solution” which allows flexible and secure ICT system with real-time capabilities to provide closed loops between infrastructure, businesses, residents and authorities for different domains and contexts.
• City Game: an interactive city management simulation game where participants have to solve typical urban development issues from Water, Power, Transport to Finance, and take on the challenge of building a sustainable city of their own.
• Mobile Parking: allows mobile telecommunications devices to be used for convenient payment of parking fees so that on-street car park users no longer need to pay via parking meters or coupons. This solution also provides efficient electronic enforcement capabilities, enabling both parking attendants and city authorities to efficiently manage parking spaces and fines.
• City Cockpit: this is an integrated Management Information and Decision Support System which assists city authorities in managing growth and changes within a city sustainably based upon key performance indicators e.g. related to traffic, environment, and finance.
